AM Logistics (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a full-truckload and part-load logistics platform across India. This Privacy Policy applies to anyone who visits our website, uses our consignment tracking service, receives a driver tracking link, or otherwise interacts with our platform. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information we collect

• Account and contact information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, GST details and billing address provided by customers or staff.
• Consignment details: Pickup and delivery addresses, goods descriptions, consignment numbers, driver assignments and journey status.
• Location data: When a driver opens a secure tracking link and grants permission, we collect GPS coordinates from the device browser to show journey progress and generate checkpoint history. Location collection only happens while the driver has the tracking page open and has granted consent.
• Device and log data: Browser type, device type, IP address, timestamps and error logs used for service reliability and security.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate and improve our logistics and tracking services.
• To share consignment status and location updates with customers and operations staff.
• To verify driver identity, vehicle documents and delivery completion.
• To communicate about consignments, respond to enquiries and send service notices.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

4. Location data and permissions

Driver location tracking is permission-based and initiated only when a driver taps “Start Journey” on the secure tracking link. The browser will request location access through the device’s native permission dialog. If permission is denied, tracking is not activated and no location data is collected. Location data is stored as journey checkpoints and is retained only as long as necessary for delivery verification and operational records.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Cloud hosting, database and messaging services that help us run the platform under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Customers: Consignment status and checkpoint history linked to a tracking number.
• Legal authorities: When required by law, court order or to protect our rights and safety.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed driver session tokens, role-based access controls and Row Level Security on our database. Access to staff accounts is restricted and authenticated.

7. Data retention

We retain personal and consignment data for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Location history is retained for operational and audit purposes in line with applicable transport and tax record-keeping requirements.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
